The Cymru 1 low cost business telephone calls service allows you to significantly reduce your phone bill by switching your outgoing calls away from BT - but without the drawbacks and long term contracts you'd face with some of our competitors.

Low cost calls from Cymru 1 - Introduction With daytime national call costs starting from 1.5p per minute you'll find it very hard to beat our prices, especially since we do not tie you in to a long contract. Your telephone line will remain with BT, so you will continue to pay them for its rental, and you will continue to be able to contact them if you have a fault on your line. Your telephone number will not change. There is no signup or setup charge to switch your calls to our service. There is no minimum monthly or annual call spend to worry about. You will be billed on a per second basis and there is no call setup charge nor minimum call charge, which means you will pay for exactly what you use and not a penny more. And all your calls are routed through high quality dedicated telecoms networks - no computer or additional equipment is required - the service does not use Broadband - the Internet is not involved at all.

Switching to us is easy. All you have to do is fill in and return some VERY simple paperwork (please click here to download a copy today), and we'll take care of the rest: Within 21 days of accepting your order, by using a facility known as "Carrier Pre Selection" (CPS) your outgoing calls will be automatically routed via our carrier's network instead of via BT's, and you can begin saving. There will be no downtime during the switchover, and other than reduced call costs and a company other than BT sending you the bill for your telephone calls, you should not notice that there has been any change at all.

And best of all we don't tie you in to a long contract. Indeed, if for any reason you don't like the service we provide you can switch back to BT or any other service provider of your choice very easily. All we require is for you to stay with us for a minimum of one calendar month and for you to give us 30 days written notice that you want to cancel or switch to another company.

For example, for extremely high volume customers we can offer Local and National weekday daytime calls for as little as 1p + VAT or even less per minute. Our standard tariffs, however, will match the needs of the majority of customers

Note that unlike many of the companies that resort to cold-calling businesses at random, we do not sign people up "over the phone". The only way to switch over to our lower cost telephone calls service is by filling in and faxing back the appropriate forms. In this way you remain in total control at all times. And be assured that when you call you will speak to a member of our full-time staff, not a call-centre drone who knows nothing other than the details on the call answering script.

Lower Cost Line Rental Option

If you want to save even more money we can offer you a line rental option. With this option as well as your call charges we will also bill you for your phone line rental at a rate that is around 10% less than BT's standard rental prices for business phone lines. There is no setup fee and the minimum contract is just one year, so you are not tied in for too long a period.

We can also arrange for new lines to be installed for you if you need an extra line when expanding your business. Installation prices are similar to BT's and can reduce significantly if you opt for a longer minimum contract period than the normal one year one.

The line rental option is provided through a Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) arrangement with BT. This means that your lines will still be physically connected to the same BT exchange and maintained by the same BT people. All that will really change is who sends you bills for the rental (and calls) and who you need to contact to report any faults. Please contact us for further details on our Line Rental option.

FeatureLine:
BT may have been in touch with you recently offering you a free or low cost upgrade to "FeatureLine". You may have wondered why. The answer is simple - at the moment only BT can offer FeatureLine, which means we cannot offer you line rental if you have switched to it. You are also normally tied in to an additional contract - at least 1 year - when you "upgrade" your line to FeatureLine, which means that if you find it offers you no useful benefits you can't switch to another line rental supplier until your minimum contract has expired. So please think carefully before accepting any offers like this - the drawbacks may well outweigh any benefits.
