Diamond Support

Diamond Support offers customers prioritised access to the Cymru 1 support department on an 0871 (normally 10p per minute) number instead of a more expensive Premium Rate number during normal office hours. It also offers prioritised Technical Support by email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Diamond Support also offers support for a wider range of operating systems and Email clients, including Microsoft Entourage and Mac Mail for OS X on the Apple Mac, and Mozilla Thunderbird and Firefox (Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems).

The following customers are eligible for Diamond Support at no extra charge:

• All Silver and Gold hosting customers
• Customers with @cymru1.net email addresses
• Customers using our 0845 535 1740 Pay As You Go dial-up internet access number
• Customers who have switched to Cymru 1 for their telephone calls or line rental

In addition, Connect 247 Dial-Up and Connect 247 Broadband customers are eligible for Diamond Support for 30 days after signing up. This ensures that customers do not have to call a Premium Rate number if they initially have problems getting their accounts up and running, or if there have been any problems with BT provisioning a Broadband line which can result in having to make numerous calls to the Technical Support department in order to resolve.

After this 30 day period, Connect 247 Dial-Up and Broadband customers may extend their access to Diamond Support through a Diamond Support Contract. This costs just £5.99 including VAT per month (£5.10 excluding VAT per month) payable annually in advance.
