With the Connect 247 Pay As You Go - No Signup Internet access account there is no monthly subscription fee to pay to us and no forms to fill out. You simply configure your computer with the details shown above and pay your telephone service provider (e.g. BT) for the cost of the telephone call when your computer is connected to the Internet. Calls are normally charged at 1p per minute at evenings and weekends and 4p per minute during the weekday, but please contact your telephone service provider (e.g. BT) for the exact call charges that will apply to your line as they can vary from provider to provider and can also depend on the type of rental package/line you have. Ex-Directory customers/withholding your number: We regret that due to security considerations the Connect 247 Pay As You Go service is not available to customers who have elected to be "Ex Directory". In addition, if you use "141" to withhold your telephone number, or have asked BT to permanently withhold your number, you will need to add the "number release" code of 1470 before the 0844 in order to be able to connect. |

If you want these additional features you need a standard Connect 247 Pay As You Go account, for which you do have to sign up. Our standard Connect 247 Pay As You Go accounts are essentially identical to the "no signup" option and are still free of any monthly subscription charge but we will ask for things like your name, address, telephone number and an existing email address, plus your choice of username/password, in order to be able to access the additional facilities. The signup process only takes a few minutes to complete, so it isn't hard to gain access to these extra free features.
