The Connect 247 Lite service is ideal for home users who use the Internet for less than 80 hours a month.
Our Connect 247 Lite accounts allow you to connect to the Internet at any time of the day or night, seven days a week without incurring any call charges for your Internet connection. This is because with this package you connect to the Internet using an 0808 number which is just like an 0800 number in that it is free to call - you won't see any charges for dialling it on your telephone bill.

Connect 247 Lite package details:
This package includes up to 7 email address and 10Mb of personal webspace. In line with the fact that it is a very low cost Internet access option intended for occasional users, the Connect 247 Lite package has a contention ratio of 15:1 and a maximum usage limit of 80 hours per month. This usage limit is still enough to allow you to be online for over two and a half hours per day, ever day of the month, which is more than enough for many users. Indeed, our Connect 247 Lite packages are fast becoming the most popular of all our dial-up Internet access options.

If you do exceed the 80 hour limit your account will not allow you to connect to the Internet until your next monthly billing date (The 80 hour usage limit is per billing month, with your billing dates being dependant on when you sign up. For example if you sign up on the 10th of the month your normal billing date will also be the 10th of the month and your 80 hour usage limit will run from the 10th of the month to midnight on the 9th of the following month). You can check on how many hours you have been online in any given month through the Connect 247 online Control Panel, through which you can also configure email addresses and your webspace and also check on your billing status.

If you occasionally to use more than 80 hours per month you can temporarily switch to using one of our Pay As You Go dial-up accounts until your next billing period begins. But more demanding and frequent Internet users should choose one of our other Unmetered products such as our Connect 247 Standard or Premium packages which offer more hours per month, and lower contention ratios.
