The Connect 247 Premium service is intended for heavy Internet users - in other words business users or indeed anyone who is online for a large part of the day.
It allows you to connect to the Internet at any time of the day or night, seven days a week without incurring any call charges for your Internet connection. This is because you connect to the Internet using an 0808 number which is just like an 0800 number in that it is free to call - you won't see any charges for dialling it on your telephone bill.

In line with the fact that it is intended for heavy Internet users, there is a very generous maximum usage limit of 200 hours per month - that's the equivalent of nearly six and a half hours a day, every day of the month. There is also an extremely low contention ratio of just 7:1, which in plain English means that as a rule of thumb you should not experience contention-related connection failures very often when connecting to the Internet. A two hour session cutoff time applies to this and all our other regular Unmetered packages, which means that the connection will automatically be dropped if you are online for 2 hours in one go, but you will be able to re-connect afterwards as normal.
